# Handover Reports

The creation of handover protocols in Immodio has been optimized for mobile use on smartphones and tablets.

With the digital handover protocol, you can easily document your apartment handovers or apartment inspections with your smartphone, tablet or laptop. In Immodio, you have two different ways to create a handover protocol:

#### A) Create handover protocol from tenancy

If you create a handover protocol directly from a tenancy, the data from the tenancy will be taken over and the handover protocol will already be pre-filled for you.

1. In the navigation, go to the menu item **"Leases"** and select the desired tenancy.
2. Within the tenancy, click on the "Documents" tab. In the "Handover Protocol" category, click on "Create Handover Protocol".\*\*

If a handover protocol is created from a tenancy, the signed handover protocol is automatically shared with the tenant in the tenant portal (if access is available for the tenant).

#### B) Create Empty Log via "Handover Logs"

If you want to create a handover protocol via the menu item **"Handover protocols"**, this is created as an empty transfer protocol. You can then collect data about the unit and the participants on your own.

1. In the navigation, go to "Handover Protocols".\*\*
2. Click on **" + Create handover protocol.**

If a handover protocol is created via the menu item "Handover protocols", the signed handover protocol is **not** automatically shared with the tenant. Use this function when documentation is for internal purposes only and/oder should not be shared with your tenant.

#### Preparing the handover of the apartment

#### Upload your own handover protocol to Immodio

In addition to the protocols created in Immodio, you have the option of uploading your own handover protocols in PDF format and thus documenting them centrally in the tenancy.

1. Go to **"Tenancies"** in the navigation and select the desired tenancy.

2. Within the tenancy, click on the **"Documents"** tab and then on the folder **"Handover logs"**. Now you can either drag your own handover protocol into the drag & drop field, upload an existing handover protocol as a photo from your gallery or create a photo of your protocol with the camera.
