Link shortages to tasks (to-dos)
In Immodio, you can link defects directly to resulting tasks. In this way, you not only keep an eye on the defect itself, but also on all the work steps resulting from it.
A to-do is a task that is related to a specific defect. This can be, for example, commissioning a craftsman, asking a service provider or arranging appointments with the tenant.
Example: Water damage has occurred in the bathroom in one of your units. This deficiency gives rise to the tasks of informing the insurance company, obtaining one or more offers from craftsmen and coordinating the subsequent renovation and documenting it with photos.
Prerequisite
In order for you to be able to link tasks to a shortage, the shortage must already be created in Immodio.
A new task can then be created directly in the shortage and automatically linked to this shortage. Alternatively, you can select an existing task and subsequently link it to the defect. Below is a step-by-step guide:
1. Create a new task for a shortage
Open the "To Dos" tab
In the detail view of the defect you will find the tab "To Dos".
All tasks that are already linked to this deficiency will be displayed there. If there are no tasks associated with the shortage yet, a notice will appear:
So far, no tasks are linked as To Do.
From here, you can either create a new task or link an existing task to the Knapp.
Create a new task from a shortage
To create a new task out of a shortage, click the Plus icon in the "To Dos" tab.
An input field will open in which you can specify the title of the new task. Enter a short and unique task title, for example:
Then click on "Add".
The task is created and linked directly to the issue. It now appears as a task in the "To Dos" tab of the Lack.
Then complete the processing of the defect by clicking on "Save".
2. Link an existing task to a shortage
Link an existing task to a shortage
To link a shortage to an existing task, click the link icon in the "To Dos" tab.
A searchable list of all tasks stored in Immodio opens.
Select the appropriate task from the list to link it to the shortage. The selected task will then be displayed in the "To Dos" tab and will be linked to the issue.
Then complete the processing of the defect by clicking on "Save".
Difference between deficiency and abandonment
A defect describes the condition detected, e.g. damage, defect or missing property. These are usually when creating the handover protocol documented or communicated to you during the year by your
A task in the context of a deficiency, on the other hand, describes what must be done to deal with this defect:
Smoke alarm missing
Contact a service provider and order a new smoke alarm.
Window handle is defective
Hire a craftsman or inform property management.
Water damage in the bathroom
Inform the insurance company, obtain offers from craftsmen, coordinate and document renovation.
The link keeps track of which tasks belong to which defect and gives you the opportunity to systematically work through all to-dos.
