# Working with the Parties function (CRM)

This page provides comprehensive information on the ways you can link parties.

### Linking parties as central contact management and CRM (customer relationship management)

Party management in Immodio can be used for far more than simply storing contact details.

Immodio lets you build a comprehensive **CRM structure for managing your properties**. In it you manage information about owners, tenants, service providers and other parties centrally in one place.

This creates a central knowledge base covering all the people and companies you work with in the course of managing your properties.

### Recording individual information and characteristics

You can store individual information and characteristics for a party in the "**Basic data**" tab. This lets you document not only the usual contact details but also other information that is relevant to your daily work.

For example, you can record:

* which services or activities a party offers,
* which individual characteristics or features are relevant for the party,
* which additional information you need for working together.

This lets you adapt party management to your own processes and requirements.

#### **1.1 Documenting services**

For service providers in particular, you can record which services they provide for which properties and units.

For example, you can document that a company or contact person carries out work in the following areas:

* cleaning,
* garden maintenance,
* caretaking,
* plumbing,
* electrical work.

This creates your own directory of service providers and contacts in Immodio.

If you need a tradesperson or service provider for a particular activity, for example, the information stored for a party can help you find the right contact more quickly.
