# Property management as a service provider

## Property management as a service provider

If you want to store a property management company for your property or unit, it first has to be created as a service provider under Parties. If you later generate a rental agreement for this unit, the property management company is listed directly in the rental agreement.

The management looks after the common property of the WEG.</td></tr><tr><td>Separate-property management (SEV)</td><td>Unit → Basic data → Separate-property management</td><td>The property is a WEG. The separate-property management takes on tasks for your individual unit, such as re-letting or management on your behalf.</td></tr><tr><td>General property management of a unit</td><td>Unit → Basic data → Property management</td><td>The property management company is assigned directly to the individual unit.</td></tr></tbody></table>
