Heating and hot water consumption

In this step you define how heating and hot water consumption is to be allocated across the individual units.
The associated costs, for example fuel costs, heating costs, hot water costs or billing services, were already recorded in step 3 – Relevant entries in the Heating and hot water costs area. This step is about how these costs and consumption shares are allocated among the users.
You have two options for this:
If a suitable meter exists for every unit and all meter readings were recorded for the settlement period, consumption can be calculated precisely from the respective meter readings. The costs incurred are then allocated according to the actual consumption of the individual units.
Meters and meter readingsIf, on the other hand, no suitable meter exists for at least one unit or at least one meter reading was not taken, a complete determination of consumption is not possible. In that case choose allocation by square metres and pro rata time. The costs incurred are then allocated to the units on the basis of the living space and the respective periods of use.
