# Entries for heating and hot water costs for non-WEG properties although the property is a WEG
This note is shown when the property is marked as a WEG in the master data but entries exist in the category **"Heating and hot water (recoverable from tenant)"**. In this case, check whether the property has been created correctly or whether the entries should instead be assigned to a WEG operating cost category such as **"Heating and hot water according to the WEG statement (recoverable from tenant)"**.
**The affected entry categories are:**
1. All heating costs including maintenance, excluding repairs (recoverable from tenant)
2. All hot water costs including maintenance, excluding repairs (recoverable from tenant)
3. Heating and hot water (recoverable from tenant)
**Choose the following categories instead:**
1. Heating costs **according to the WEG statement**,
2. Hot water costs **according to the WEG statement**,
3. Heating and hot water costs according to the **WEG statement**.
