# No heating cost statement required, but entries exist at property level
This note appears in step **"3. Relevant entries"** under **"Notes"** when all the following conditions are met:
1. The property is **not a WEG**.
2. In [**"2. Settings"**](/en/anleitung/betriebskostenabrechnungen/einstellungen-fur-die-bka.md), **"not required"** is selected for the heating and hot water statement.
3. There is at least one heating- or hot-water-related entry at **property level**.

The selection **"not required"** and a heating-related entry at property level do not fit together. Immodio then cannot take these costs into account appropriately for the operating cost statement.

First check whether no heating and hot water statement is genuinely required for the property. If Immodio is to bill the heating and hot water costs, switch to **"2. Settings"** and select **"create"** or **"existing"**.
If **"not required"** is correct, open the entry concerned. Either assign it to the matching **tenancy** in the **"Assignment"** area instead of posting it at **property level**, or check whether the category and entry belong to this operating cost statement.
