Defects

This page provides all the information you need about digital defect management in Immodio.

Defect management in Immodio lets you record and handle defects in properties and units in a structured way. All defects you create are adopted automatically in the digital Immodio handover report. Further defects can also be created and documented directly during the handover.

Managing defects in properties and units is available to users from the Standard plan upwards.

You can find a guide to creating defects here:

Creating a defect

All defects

  • Under the "Properties" menu item you find the "Show defects" filter. There you can view and edit all defects recorded for the properties you manage in Immodio.

  • This view serves only as an overview; new defects cannot be created here. New defects have to be created in the relevant property or unit in the "Defects" tab.

Defect view

  • Defects can be displayed in Immodio either as a list or as what is known as a Kanban board.

  • The magnifier icon lets you search for defects.

  • The drop-down lists let you filter the defects by your properties and units and see at a glance where a defect exists.

Which display formats are available depends on whether you use Immodio in the desktop view or on a mobile device. The Kanban view is available only in the desktop version.

Defect view as a list

  • The list view presents all recorded defects clearly. The "Open", "In progress"and "Fixed" filters let you filter the display by status.

  • You can edit the status of a defect directly in the defect by first clicking a defect and then clicking the status you want in the window that opens.

  • Subsequent adjustments and additions to the information are possible at any time by clicking a defect.

Defect view as a Kanban board

The Kanban board gives you a visual overview of all recorded defects and their current status. Each defect is shown as its own card and can be moved between the "Open", "In progress" and "Fixed" columns by drag and drop.

  • This view makes organisation easier and gives you a quick overview of the progress on all defects.

  • Clicking a defect lets you edit it accordingly.
