Links (property)

In the Links tab you can link parties to a property. This lets you record directly on the property which people or companies are connected with it or carry out particular activities for it.

Any party created in Immodio can be linked to a property.

If you want to link a party to a unit, you can find more information about this here.

A link can make sense for the following parties, for example:

  • a cleaning service responsible for cleaning the property or the stairwell,

  • a landscaping company that looks after the property's green spaces,

  • a caretaker who carries out particular activities at the property,

  • a notary who notarised the purchase of the property,

  • a tradesperson who regularly carries out work at the property.

This lets you see directly in the property which parties are connected with it.

Linking a party to the property

To link a party to the property, proceed as follows:

1

Open the property

Open the property you want to store a link for and switch to the "Links" tab.

2

Click the "Link party" button.

A list of all the parties you have stored in Immodio opens. Click the party you want to link to the property.

3

When linking a party you can store further information. Here you can describe, for example, why the party is linked to the property or what activity they carry out for it.

This information is stored only for the link concerned. It is not stored centrally with the party. This means different information can be stored for the same party depending on the property.

A service provider works for several of your properties:

  • At property A the service provider carries out the garden work.

  • At property B the same service provider carries out the gutter cleaning.

The service provider is therefore linked to both properties. In each link the relevant activity is stored as further information, but it is not saved centrally in the party. This means the "further information" originally stored in the party remains saved centrally there, while the property-specific activities are documented directly in the respective link.

Linking a tenant to a property

Parties of the type tenant can also be linked to a property.

An additional link to the property can make sense, however, if the tenant carries out particular tasks for the property independently of their tenancy.

For example, a tenant can:

  • take on the cleaning of the stairwell,

  • carry out minor caretaking work,

  • look after the bins.

In these cases the tenant can also be linked to the property and the activity concerned stored as further information about the link.
