# Landlord

This page provides guidance on selecting the landlord in a tenancy.

The **landlord** is entered into the tenancy by Immodio automatically**.** This is the owner stored in the property or, for a [**WEG**](/en/anleitung/immobilien/objekt/grunddaten-objekt.md), in the unit concerned. For the rental agreement to be valid, it is important that the landlord's details are correct.

* **Please check under** [**"Parties"**](/en/anleitung/beteiligte.md) whether the **name and address** are entered correctly.
* If the landlord is a legal entity (for example a GmbH, AG or eGbR), the correct company name, legal form and address have to be entered.
