### Creating a new tenancy

Here you can create a new tenancy for a new letting. At the end of the process a legally sound, individual Immodio rental agreement is generated that can be signed digitally.

### Adding an existing tenancy

You can also record and manage tenancies that already exist in Immodio. This lets you digitise existing contracts easily and store all paperwork centrally. Use Immodio to manage all your tenancies efficiently in one place.

This is how you add an existing tenancy:

1. Have the existing rental agreement to hand.
2. Create your existing tenants in Immodio as [parties](/en/anleitung/beteiligte.md).
3. The rental agreement assistant asks you for the most important framework data about the rental agreement (including the start of the tenancy, rent and operating costs).
4. Upload existing documents relating to the tenancy as a PDF.
5. Your tenancy has been digitised successfully. You can now manage it centrally and digitally in Immodio.
