# Login

This page explains how to log in to Immodio and what you can do if you have forgotten your password.

### Logging in as a landlord, property manager or estate agent

* At [my.immodio.app](https://my.immodio.app) you can log in to Immodio simply with your email address and password.
* If you have not yet created an Immodio account, you first need to register free of charge. You can find more information about registering [**here**](/en/erste-schritte/registrieren.md).

Your tenants also log in at [my.immodio.app](https://my.immodio.app). Immodio automatically recognises whether the account is a landlord or a tenant account.

### Have you forgotten your password? <a href="#haben-sie-ihr-passwort-vergessen" id="haben-sie-ihr-passwort-vergessen"></a>

If you have forgotten your password, you can set a new one under "Forgot password".

* Enter the email address your Immodio account is registered with.
* You will receive a link at this email address that lets you set a new password (please also check your spam folder).

If you also use Immodio as a prospective tenant, for example to apply for an apartment, or as a tenant to access the tenant portal in an existing tenancy, you have to create a separate tenant account with a different email address. **Important**: In rare cases errors can occur if you log in to Immodio as a landlord and then, in the same browser and without reloading, as a tenant. If you are both a tenant and a landlord (this also applies for testing purposes), we recommend using two different browsers for this, for example Firefox and Chrome.
